TfL’s official travel advice says there are lane restrictions in both directions on the A23 between Sternhold Avenue on Streatham Hill and Holmewood Road on Brixton Hill. It also says temporary traffic signals are due until 1 September, and again from Monday 28 September until late 2026.
What TfL is advising
The A23 Streatham Hill works are part of a new permanent road layout, including protected cycle lanes and dedicated bus lanes in both directions. TfL says the works are due to finish in spring 2027.
